Mr. Murphy is an accountant specializing in construction accounting and management, forensic accounting and fraud investigations.  Mr. Murphy has over 20 years of experience across the fields of accounting, construction, government, education, budgeting, and strategic planning.  Mr. Murphy has nearly 20 years of surety and construction experience including calculating potential exposure, investigating and resolving bond claims, cash flow projections and performance management through project completion.  Prior to joining CSF, Mr. Murphy worked at Moody’s CPA’s & CFE’s for over 19 years specializing in surety accounting across all types of construction as well as the resolution of fidelity employee theft claims, and providing litigation support to clients. Mr. Murphy is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Illinois Assessing Official, and currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Chicago Surety Claims Association.
