Background
Mr. Iesu comes to the Firm with eight years of experience in the construction and development industry. Mr. Iesu possesses a successful track record of project completion accomplished by coordinating trades, developing partnerships and building positive rapport with vendors and clients, while mitigating costs. Mr. Iesu is well versed in contract negotiations, project estimating, design problem resolution, materials purchasing and site management. Additionally, Mr. Iesu has management experience, including supervision of subcontractors and development and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
Experience
Acted as a Field Inspector, on behalf of the Town of Oyster Bay, for the Road Restoration and Concrete Contracts. This contract entailed the excavation and replacement of roadways, residential sidewalks, driveway aprons, curb, asphalt, and sod. The Inspector's duties included taking measurements for each excavation. These measurements were used as estimates by the Town of Oyster Bay to project monthly contractor requisitions. Mr. Iesu approved any additional work needed for the completion of the project while on the site and supervised all quality control according to project specifications.
Supervisor overseeing electrical and plumbing inspection services for the New York State Department of buildings to ensure compliance with local and State Building Codes. Supervised and coordinated building inspectors, master electricians and plumbers for final inspections in housing projects located throughout the five boroughs.
On-site monitoring and recording of the physical removal of contaminated materials at a “Superfund” site. Corrective remediation is being guided and overseen by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Planned, organized and managed overall residential and light construction development of various types of home renovation projects. Responsibilities included rip-outs, design, installation and analysis of projects. Involvement included negotiations, sub-contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budget development, quality control and crew supervision.
