Town of Oyster Bay - Bethpage High School Track & Field Restoration, Bethpage, NY. Daily monitoring of site construction activities including the installation of five (5) sport fields with artificial turf (football, men/women soccer, men/women lacrosse); a five-lane track with field sports (high jump, long jump, shot-put), paving and striping; underfield drainage system with drywells; new electrical service; installation of bleachers and concrete pad for bleachers; weekly attendance at construction coordination meetings; preparation of daily reports; and take-offs of installed works for payment verification.
- Paerdegat Basin Combined Sewer Overflow Tanks, Brooklyn, NY . General construction project management duties including: supervision of combined sewer overflow concrete structure completions; tie-down monitoring system, and dredging of Paerdegat Basin (approx 25,000cy of dredging). Coordinated submittals and RFIs to CM, attended coordination and scheduling meetings. Reviewed contract documents for claim issues and litigation support. Implemented document control procedures.
- Fontainebleau Casino/Resort, Las Vegas, NV. General Contractor and Senior Project Engineer for $4.2 billion dollar new casino/resort on 25- acre parcel. Construction included 3,900 hotel rooms, a 100,000 s.f. casino floor and 300,000 s.f. of retail space. Responsible for buyout of interior scopes from bid solicitation to bid comparison/analysis. Perform ed takeoffs; c oordinated field work, submittals, and RFIs.
- Echelon Resorts, Las Vegas, NV . Construction/Project Manager for $6.3 billion dollar new casino/resort on 68 -acre parcel including 5,000 hotel rooms, a 140,000 s.f. casino floor and 300,000 s.f. of retail. Supervised demolition of existing 32 and 18-story towers (Stardust Casino) and several adjacent structures (Budget Suite and Westward Ho hotels). As Project Manager, bought out over $60m worth of contracts and managed thereafter, including: third-party testing, surveying/field engineering, tree harvesting, and temporary facilities i.e. toilets, fencing, SWPPP/dust control, and street closures. Assisted Senior Project Manager in managing the site work scope including mass excavation, temp roads and concrete wash out facilities. Responsible for managing, tracking and reporting of changes. Managed staff of three (3) to implement cost controls for all changes project-wide. Tracking of changes via SKIRE and implementing approval process including final executive signoffs. Ensured protocols followed from initial change assessment to final Change Order negotiation/issuance.
- MGM Hotel & Casino, Biloxi, MS. Owner’s Representative/Assistant Project Manager on $500 million dollar reconstruction of 40-story tower interior rebuild, entire Casino redesign, and four (4) fine- dining restaurants due to damages from Hurricane Katrina. Managed third-party testing from scheduling to document management/control. Implemented and managed punchlist program and project closeout document requirements. Worked with end users of casino for start-up and re-opening program. Cost analysis and cost justification to insurance companies in efforts to recuperate funds from reconstruction.
- University of Maryland, MD. Construction Manager for $5 million dollar framing, drywall and painting contract at the University of Maryland. Field management of daily operations; site supervision of union trades; scheduling implementation and updating; verification of billings.
- Centereach Public Library, Centereach, NY. Site supervision of $4.5 million dollar rehabilitation and new construction project which included supervision of trades, coordination, reporting to surety, field management of daily operations, and back charge assessments.
- JFK and LGA Airports Rehabilitation, NY. Monitoring of $10 million dollar multiple- contract rehabilitation project. Project included: site verifications; installation of new electrical equipment; paving; and removal of underground fuel storage cells. Trained staff in utilizing Primavera Expedition and customized all company reports and forms based upon c lient needs.
- West Farms Bus Depot, NY. Construction Manager for 25 -acre, $48 million dollar Bus Depot/Maintenance Facility for NYC Transit. Project included: construction of superstructure and interior build-out. Duties included coordination of trades; submittals; RFIs; closeout and Change Order documents; and utilizing Primavera Expedition.
