Mr. Bromfield's experience includes a wide variety of projects including: large-scale retail centers, entertainment facilities; schools and libraries; apartment complexes; c-generation facilities; stadiums and pollution control centers.
Recent Project Experience
As Senior Project Executive:
Mr. Bromfield consulted on the construction of a 420,000 square foot retail/cinema complex in Queens, New York which included performing analyses resulting in the savings of $4 million in acceleration charges claimed by contractor. The project was also brought in ahead of schedule.
Managed development and construction of $60 million, 1-million square foot retail/entertainment complex in Orlando, FL. Specific responsibilities included: design management from the concept through construction document stages; presentations of designs to various regulatory agencies; negotiation of favorable terms for the developer; preparation and negotiation of design and construction contracts; assisting developer with preparation of leases; and coordination with tenants for design and construction of their respective spaces.
Developed, implemented and maintained comprehensive schedules and cost-control procedures for all phases and types of construction projects. Performed schedule analysis and recommended corrective action for projects "off-track."
Advised on bid package preparation and GMP development.
Prepared and presented Construction Management and project development proposals.

As Field Planning Engineer:
Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an integrated commodity tracking system during construction of a nuclear power plant utilized by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Also developed and provided training courses for system users expediting utilization of system.
